The ProtosGolf Golf GPS Rangefinder offers accurate and reliable distance measurements essential for on-course decision-making. It provides precise distances to key Points of Interest, including the front, back, and center of the green, as well as sand traps, water hazards, and other relevant targets for each hole.

Complementing its distance features, the device includes a comprehensive scorekeeping function that allows users to track putts, approach shots, and tee shots alongside their overall score. This data facilitates in-depth analysis of performance, enabling players or their coaches to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, round statistics can be securely stored on the Protos Cloud for ongoing performance monitoring.

The ProtosWatch companion app extends usability by displaying distances directly on the Apple Watch, allowing golfers to access vital information without removing their phone from their pocket.

The Map feature enables users to view distances to custom Points of Interest from their current position and from there to the green's center. This functionality supports shot planning and course management by providing detailed spatial awareness.

The device also offers a shot-by-shot mapping capability via the ProtosMap feature, which calculates true club distances based on each shot. Users can easily navigate through holes with a simple swipe on the scorecard interface, which instantly displays hole layouts and associated POIs.

With access to over 20,000 courses worldwide, ProtosGolf maintains an extensive course database. If a particular course is not yet supported, users can submit course information either through the dedicated email at [email protected] or via the in-app request tool.
